lyrics

[VERSE A]

"What is it now?" Cried David to the butler.
"It's the People sir, they're here to protest!"
"I a'int got the time got money on my mind,
Would you tell them to come back tomorrow"

"There must be another way!" cried a voice from the crowd
"The prime minister has no time today, wont you come back in a day or two"
"Oh what is this world coming too?"

[VERSE B]

so another divide between friends and foe alike
grows larger, every day, and the lives are all thrown away

the system falls apart

[CHORUS]

And so the rain falls
for those in the storm
the innocent lives
all lost for what cause?
But in the end questions arrise
who is the bad one who makes them all cry.

[VERSE A]

"They're back again tonight, seems they are here to fight!"
"Let them all come we'll arrest everyone, i a'int got the time got money on my mind, would you tell them to come back tomorrow!"

"There must be another way!" cried a voice from the crowd
"You must all leave now or face the law" the forces marched them down
"oh what are we supposed to do now?"

[VERSE B]

Whilst fear grows everyday amongst friends and foe alike
with one side a traitor and the other are the bad guys...

The system fall apart

[CHORUS]

And still the rain Falls
for those in the storm
the innocent lives
all lost for what cause?
But in the end questions arise,
who spreads the terror and who spreads the lies?

[FINALE]

So don't you cry
just close your eyes
the pain will subside
when you sleep tonight
all save in side your
western lives
no you cant change the times
the inevitable tides
just sleep now, sleep now
in this dog eat dog world
it's kill or be killed
that's the way it all works
nothing has changed
and so nothing will
so just close your eyes
the pain will subside!!!
